Two Mustangs of the 361st Fighter Group in flight during Summer 1944. The upper aircraft, a D-5-NA (s/n 44-13410) named "LOU IV" (after the baby daughter of its pilot) on the port side and "ATHELENE" on the starboard side, was flown by the CO of the Group, Thomas Jonathan Jackson CHRISTIAN. Thomas Christian was KIA on 12 August 1944 near Arras. The lower aircraft, another D-5-NA (s/n 44-13926), was flown by Abe P. ROSENBERGER of the 375th Fighter Squadron
